Michelle Bardach (Joanne) is a Coast Salish Indigenous woman from the Sḵwx̱wú7mesh Úxwumixw (Squamish Nation), with additional ancestry from the We Wai Kai Nation. She has been involved in the performing arts since she was just a child. She holds a three year diploma from the Musical Theatre Program at Capilano University, and is just about to finish her Bachelor of Performing Arts program. Her most recent credits are Belle in Beauty and the Beast and Sophie in Mamma Mia (Arts Club), and Wendy in Peter Pan (Carousel). IG: @michyb123
Aaron M. Wells (Joe) comes from the Nuu-Chah-Nulth and Tsimpsian Nations and is a graduate of the Canadian College of Performing Arts. He has been involved in the creation of new Indigenous works for theatres around Canada. Aaron has also been included in discussions investigating the Indigenous Body of Work and space on the national stage with other First Nations, Metis and Inuit creators from across the country.
Cole Vandale (Vernon) is a Métis actor born in the small town of Invermere BC. He attended the Company of Rogues actors studio, and has appeared on screen in Hell on Wheels and The Revenant. After studying in New York City, Cole worked in the film industry Calgary as a Grip, LX, and Camera Assistant to continue his education in filmmaking. Cole is an artist in residence at the Skwachays Lodge pursuing his career as an actor while developing his limited series Starlight — a continuation on his Sundance Ignite Fellowship finalist film — and his original feature Indian in the Child.
Max Chadburn (Emma) is a dancer and performance artist based on the traditional unceded territory of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), and Sel̓íl̓witulh (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations. She lives and works as an uninvited guest on their land. Max has toured nationally and internationally, as a dance artist with various choreographers and contemporary dance companies including Daina Ashbee, Kelly McInnes, Shay Keubler’s Radical System Arts and Future Leisure. She has studied with Modus Operandi and Edam Dance. Her acting career has brought her further opportunities to indulge her imagination and love of storytelling, and nominations for both a Leo and UBCP/ACTRA Award.
Sarah Formosa (Elizabeth/Anita) trained with Spiral Dance Company and continued training in San Francisco at the Alonzo King LINES Ballet Training. She is honoured to be currently working with TWObigsteps Collective, Vision Impure (Noam Gagnon), WAREhaus Dance Collective (Meghan Hunter), Raven Spirit Dance Company (Starr Muranko), Wen Wei Dance (Wen Wei Wang) and Action at a Distance (Vanessa Goodman). Sarah took part in Springboard Danse Montreal where she performed an excerpt of Crystal Pite’s ‘Betroffenheit.' Sarah is a performer with The Smoke Show directed by Jen Oleksiuk and some of her TV and Film Credits include Disney, Netflix, Nickelodeon, LifeTime and Freeform.
Alysson Hall (Claire) is an actor, writer and filmmaker living and working on the unceded territories of the Musqueam, Squamish, and Tsleil-Waututh First Nations. BFA graduate of The University of Victoria, Recent credits include: Kayak (Havana), Memory House (Pacific Theatre) A Prayer for Owen Meany (Pacific Theatre), Red Glimmer (HIVE2019 and WhatLab), Love's Love (Havana), Dark Road, A Few Good Men, The Country Wife, and Romans in Britain (ETC/Jericho Arts Centre). She's currently in development on a feature version of her 2019 Short film 'The Mirror' which was a Crazy8s finalist.
